The Boat Cottage

The Boat Cottage is a modern one-bedroom holiday rental in the heart of Kommetjie. This getaway is part of The Boat House and includes just the main en suite bedroom of the house that opens onto a private balcony sheltered by Milkwood trees. The bedroom leads into the open plan kitchen, dining room and cosy lounge which also have large glass doors which open onto the pool deck.

It is a very unique property with little pieces of the original building displayed decoratively and a beautiful large Milkwood tree provides shade on a hot summer’s day and has been carefully incorporated into the design of the house giving a wonderful indoor, outdoor flow and providing privacy. For keen boaters, there is space to store a boat at the house. From here you are within easy walking distance of the village, Old Kom, the lighthouse and the slip way. The owners have put a lot of thought into this home making it a lovely choice for a romantic couples getaway.
